Our Story
U-Turn Salon was opened December 1st 1999 at 204 Campbelltown Road in Palmyra by the great Randy Taylor. He worked very hard for 16 years to build an amazing brand that stands for talent, equality and love. He made sure to build a team that honors those values and those individuals are who you see at U-Turn today. In 2016 Randy followed his heart by moving across the country to Santa Monica and focused on his other vision...the worldwide huge success called Hairbrained. By May of 2018, Randy sold U-Turn to Lauren and Janell. Randy met Lauren when she was working at the Hershey Pantry after she graduated beauty school and he knew she would be a good fit as a U-Turn stylist so she was hired in 2007. Janell has been at U-Turn since July 25th 2005. The most loyal stylist through all the life changes is the amazing Skot (at U-Turn since 2009). Janell has known Lindsey since their high school days together and they are neighbors so it was perfect timing for her to join the team in August 2023. Lindsey has over 15 years of experience and LOVES Brazilian Blowouts, haircolor and barber cuts. Either way it works out, you're in good hands all around the U-Turn and back!
